How we cover Cambridge
Cambridge is an East of England run from Parkgate or Aldermaston, with same-day or overnight emergency cover. We repair roller shutters and automatic doors at the Grand Arcade and the out-of-town parks, and industrial doors on the science and business parks.
Science and business parks want planned windows and a written report, not a van blocking a barrier. We book those visits.
City retail at the Grand Arcade needs after-hours shutter cover. We plan around store hours and the city loading rules.
Huntingdon, Ely, Newmarket, St Neots and Peterborough sit on the same run when we are already east.
Cambridge calls mix science and business parks, retail and the A14 trade belt. Cambridge Science Park and Cambridge Business Park (CB4) are on the northern edge, Granta Park (CB21) and the Babraham Research Campus (CB22) lie to the south-east, and the Biomedical Campus at Addenbrooke's (CB2) is to the south. Cambourne Business Park (CB23) is along the A428. Retail shutters and entrances come from the Beehive Centre (CB1) and the Grand Arcade (CB2). Cambridge is roughly two and a half hours from Rotherham by the A1(M) and A14, or from Aldermaston by the M25 and M11, so we send whichever depot is nearer.
